The original Practice was an old established town practice, originally based in the centre of town with a small branch surgery in Delapre. The practice moved to a purpose-built centre in Delapre in January 1987. Two small extensions, the first in 1992 and the latest in 1997; together with other internal alterations have been carried out over the years, to produce our present accommodation. There is disabled access to the ground and lower ground floors.

April 2011 saw the merger of Delapre Medical Centre with Whitefields Surgery in Camp Hill.

Whitefields Surgery was built in the early 80’s and all the clinical rooms are on the ground floor, which make this the perfect location for anybody with limited mobility. There is ample free parking in front of the building.

On 1st April 2016, the partnership name changed from Dr Hewitt & Partners, to Eleanor Cross Healthcare. Delapre Medical Centre and Whitefields Surgery will continue to operate under their current names but as a part of new partnership.
